Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waivers at University of Florida, USA


The announcement of the Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waivers for the academic year 2022–2023 has been made with excitement by the University of Florida. To finance their undergraduate studies in the United States, all overseas students are eligible to apply.

To be eligible for Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waivers, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

  • The applicants must be freshman students.

Eligible Countries: Applicants that reside out of the state or in any other international country are both eligible to apply.

Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply to any undergraduate degree program at UFL.

How to Apply: The applicants need to create their student ID on the university’s application portal to apply. Eligible out-of-state students will be considered upon applying.

Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

  • Residency proof for tuition purposes
  • Proof of immunization
  • Academic records
  • Transcripts

Admission Requirements: The applicants must hold a GPA of 4.4 to 4.6 or SAT scores of 1330 to 1470 or ACT scores of 30 to 34 to get accepted at UFL.

Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:

  • TOEFL IBT – 80
  • TOEFL PBT – 550
  • IELTS – 6.0

Benefit of Out-of-State Tuition Fee Waivers: The winners of the scholarships will get a sum of $8,000 to $20,000 per year for up to 4 years towards the tuition fee of the undertaken undergrad program at UFL.
